Bathu, a South African shoe company, has shared the exciting news that it will be expanded internationally. Theo Baloyi, the founder of the shoe brand came up with the concept for Bathu while working as an accountant in Dubai. He saw a need for reasonably priced, superior sneakers with an African flair. Baloyi’s vision for Bathu was shaped by his childhood in Johannesburg, South Africa’s Alexandra neighborhood. His goal was to develop a brand that embodied the township’s dynamic culture and the goals of its residents. Bathu has officially opened its doors in Namibia at Maerua Mall, Windhoek. “Today, we are thrilled to announce a monumental step in our journey—Bathu has officially opened its doors in Namibia at Maerua Mall, Windhoek! This is not just our first store outside South Africa; it’s a bold stride towards our vision of global expansion and a testament to what we can achieve together.” wrote Baloyi
